My poor heart almost couldn‘t take this. 😅 it is a brilliant book and the ending held a whirlwind of emotions and action in store for me...
I love the world building, I love the character development, the action is great, the magic is great, the cover is gorgeous and there is a map. Awesome! I think some characters were waisted but Tomi Adeyemi probably had good reasons for that

SassyBookworm @GingerAntics really? What app do you use? I use Libby and there is a place in the search part where you can look for ‘coming soon‘ books. I try to check it, often (which I usually forget 🤦🏼‍♀️) 5y

SassyBookworm @GingerAntics try this, go to where you search for books and go to more options, then go to where is says availability. You should be able to click on ‘coming soon‘ then push search right below it. That‘s how it works on mine, I hope it will on yours too!! Let me know! 5y

Okay so there‘s beef on author twitter right now...🍿🍿🍿. Tomi Adeyemi, the author of Children of Blood and Bone, accused NORA ROBERTS of shamelessly stealing HER title on twitter. First, titles can‘t be stolen (+there are dozens Blood and Bone works), second, Nora Roberts doesn‘t need you, third, maybe contact your agent before calling the twitter mob.

MarriedtoMrT I just got caught in the Twitter rabbit hole over this. Did you see Beverly Jenkins getting roped in, too, and being told to check her “white privilege”? Why haven‘t Tomi‘s people had her take down the tweets yet? The “apology” makes it seem like she still thinks she‘s in the right. 5y
