Finally finished “Neverwhere“ on last Wednesday. The rest were read during #DeweysReadathon. It's been a good week.

My hold for “Toxic Prey“ came in this morning and I started it over lunch. Love Lucas and Letty Davenport!

Next is a Gray Man novel-these books on average take 7-10 days to read so I'm prepared for a lot excitement and intensity.

#bookreport & #weeklyforecast
#finished: I finished quite a number of books this past week, due in large part to #deweysreadathon that was held on Saturday and the fact that I had two book club meetings last week (finished my other book last week). Reviews of these books will be forthcoming this week.

#currentlyreading: still plugging away at The Kingdom and will be picking up The Essex Serpent again this week (just a really busy reading time)

melissajayne #upcomingreads: I am planning on starting The Women, Legends and Wolf Hall this coming week. I hope to try to combine my apartment cleaning/packing with my reading as much as possible.

Hope you all have a wonderful week of reading.📚

My 5th and final completed book of the 24-hour readathon. I definitely am comfy/cozy right now, so I should get some sleep. It's been a great #readathon. I'm glad to finally read some books that have been on my TBR pile for a long time. #deweysreadathon @DeweysReadathon

Librarybelle Congratulations! I managed not quite 4 hours, but it‘s been so long since I‘ve intentionally made stretches of time available for reading. So glad you had a great readathon! 5d

Completed my 4th read of the #readathon. This was amazing, and I'm glad I finally picked it up. I think I have to read the 2nd one now too. #deweysreadathon @DeweysReadathon

I‘m enjoying taco salad for supper and a few chapters of Anything for Billy in the backyard on this beautiful evening.

Book 2 of #DeweysReadathon done!

This was super cute and something I would have adored as a kid. I seem to have gone from Nancy Drew to “In Cold Blood“. I just missed a lot of kid's book and classics like this one.

Short story shorter: read this one. It's short, it's cute, and it's magical.

✅ Another strange book marked off the 1001 list! Thankfully, it was short & fairly easy to follow at double speed. It‘s a disjointed mishmash of stories with way too much graphic M/M sex for me. Some scenes were interesting in how they were repetitively told with slight variations, but I didn‘t get the point. It wasn‘t as difficult of a read as de Sade‘s Justine, but I‘m giving it the same kind of rating.

Finished book #2 of the #readathon. I've been making my way through Sue Grafton's series and making good progress. I liked "M" more than this one. #deweysreadathon @DeweysReadathon
