For Duologies, Trilogies and more I have chosen Wolfgang Hohlbeins „Chronik der Unsterblichen“ (Chronicle of the Immortals). There are some more books in the series I don‘t own yet. #riotgrams #DuologiesTrilogiesAndMore

Oryx and Crake | Margaret Atwood

Pickpick

A trilogy that would have been stronger had it been left a duology IMO. But still Margaret Atwood! Even her less successful efforts I enjoy. I like the way she writes 😍 #riotgrams #duologiestrilogiesandmore

carriepaige She‘s so fabulous. I had heard the same thing about Oryx and Crake so I️ haven‘t gotten around to it yet, but it‘s still in my TBR pile. 6y
Ruthiella @carriepaige Clearly we Atwood fans must read all three books to determine which book is strongest 😀 It‘s a tough job but someone has to do it! 😜 6y
carriepaige @Ruthiella oh wait! I‘m thinking of Madaddam. That‘s the third, right? That‘s the one I️ haven‘t read yet. Doh 🤦🏻‍♀️. But yes, must read all three even knowing that the third might not be as good! 6y

Lindy @carriepaige @Ruthiella Maddaddam was my favourite of the trilogy. I thought it was hilarious. 6y
Ruthiella @Lindy My biggest problem with Maddaddam was the direction Toby‘s character takes. But still, it is Atwood so I like the writing, just not the plotting😀 6y
Lindy @Ruthiella Yes, the writing! “She has been making some effort over the past few days: pulling out a weed or two, culling the odd slug or snail. In the old Edencliff Rooftop Garden days, they'd have relocated Our Fellow Vegetable Eaters by throwing them down onto the street -- slugs, too, had a right to live, went the mantra, though not in inappropriate locations such as salad bowls, where they might be harmed by chewing." 6y

My pictures suck but here's a few #DuologiesTrilogiesandMore: Mordant's Need (duology) • The Gap Cycle (quintet) • The Chronicles of Thomas Covenant (two trilogies & a quartet) • Last but not least, The Cleric Quintet! #Riotgrams

TK-421 In my opinion, any of the non-Drizzt RAS & non-Covenant SRD books could be considered an #underratedbook! ReadingResolutions @Jess7 6y
Lreads I've read and liked the Cleric Quintet! 6y
RJHowe Great writer. I read the Covenant books as they came out and I am a lifelong fan 6y
TK-421 @RJHowe I'm always thrilled to find another Donaldson fan! 🙌 6y

I‘ve got bits and pieces of several series featured on this shelf...HP, ASoIaF, Hunger Games, and The Magicians. Not pictured: the hardcover of A Dance with Dragons which doesn‘t fit on the shelf.
