If only Ebineezer Scrooge had social media and the benefit of reading brutal comments he might have been able to forgo the trauma of his ghosts of past, present, and future and spread his Christmas cheer straightaway. This was a bittersweet reimagining of that tale as old as time.

Good short little book about living into an encouraged life of faith. It had good things to think about. It was an easy and enjoyable read.
#3 of a series of 5 which I didn't know. I am reading it for irl bookclub. 4.5 ⭐ anyway. I'm sure I will go back and read the series from the beginning. Short, feel-good read even tho elements of the story are sad.

Comment below if you would like this copy of Amazing Grace: a vocabulary of faith. If multiple people respond I‘ll choose the winner by a drawing Sept 16.
I had heard this book referenced in a sermon and then also saw it positively reviewed here, so I decided to give it a listen. It was a wonderfully written interpretation of the Biblical story of the prodigal son, explaining the faults of both sons. The message resonated with me, and I loved all the literary references as well. I‘ll need to research more books by this author.
