“Foul Ole Ron was a Beggars‘ Guild member in good standing. He was a Mutterer, and a good one. He would walk behind people muttering in his own private language until they gave him money not to.” #Incoherent #QuotsyJune19

“Simon, I need, please, inside, now,” I panted, almost #incoherent with lust. Simon, schooled in Caroline shorthand, understood this completely and was poised between my legs, hips nuzzled up into mine within seconds. He leaned down, kissing me wantonly, the taste of me all over him. And I loved it.

(Day 9 - #Incoherent)
#quotsyjune19 @TK-421 When this novel by Stoker was released in 1911, it was badly received - one reviewer wrote that it was “one of the most spectacularly #incoherent novels ever to reach print”. I love the pulpy images and the fact that one claims this to be “another masterpiece”. Granted, I‘ve never read it so I don‘t know if it‘s actually as bad as all that.

I have yet to read this novel by James Joyce who with his stream of consciousness narration is sometimes said to be #incoherent. 🤓😍🧚🏼♀️📚
