“One should always be drunk. That's all that matters...But with what? With wine, with poetry, or with virtue, as you chose. But get drunk.”

#WARNINGsteamy

“Simon, I need, please, inside, now,” I panted, almost #incoherent with lust. Simon, schooled in Caroline shorthand, understood this completely and was poised between my legs, hips nuzzled up into mine within seconds. He leaned down, kissing me wantonly, the taste of me all over him. And I loved it.

MaleficentBookDragon Great photo of the cast. 6y
AsYouWish Oh my stars, this is crazy that you posted this. I woke up with this overwhelming feeling this morning that I should find my Buffy and Angel books and reread them like right now! I loved this show so much and I miss it! 6y
Zelma Where‘s Giles? 😳 6y
gradcat @MaleficentBookDragon It really is, but I fear that @Zelma makes a good point: it feels like an important player of the cast—Giles—is very much missed in this photo. 😔 6y
gradcat @AsYouWish Isn‘t it so funny/strange when that happens? And it seems to happen, to me at least, fairly often on Litsy. A lot of us must have very similar tastes. 😂 6y

#quotsyjune19 @TK-421 When this novel by Stoker was released in 1911, it was badly received - one reviewer wrote that it was “one of the most spectacularly #incoherent novels ever to reach print”. I love the pulpy images and the fact that one claims this to be “another masterpiece”. Granted, I‘ve never read it so I don‘t know if it‘s actually as bad as all that.

cookreadsleep I‘d never even heard of this. Now I‘m interested! 6y
cookreadsleep Oh wow. It is one of the lowest rated books on goodreads and the first review is about the racism in the book. Yikes! 6y
StrangeLibrarian I‘ve heard it was a cult classic as a movie. Good luck? 6y

#QuotsyJune19 Day 9: #Incoherent
I have yet to read this novel by James Joyce who with his stream of consciousness narration is sometimes said to be #incoherent. 🤓😍🧚🏼‍♀️📚

gradcat His work is damned difficult, that‘s for sure. ♥️ 6y
Ddzmini Hum is it weird if I understood it??? But then I‘m in my master classes for psychology 😝🤣🤣🤣 6y
