I‘m sure this is a perfectly good story. It had potential, but I couldn‘t get past the 1st 2 hours of brutality when listening to

I didn‘t really like this one, mostly because of the subject matter, and even though the suspense and action was kept high. Jack Morgan of the company Private is supposed to keep the Olympic games being held at Rio in Brazil safe. Unfortunately, for him, there is a mad scientist, hoping to release a deadly virus and a conspiracy to kidnap and kill the man who built the stadium for the Olympics.

Honestly this was quite boring and dragged. Usually the books are fast paced..I wouldn't recommend reading this one in the series.

Holmes, Marple, and Poe is about three PI's in NYC. They solve cases using whatever means necessary. They first help solve one case that leads to three more. While the book kept my interest, it was jaw-dropping or thrilling to me. I didn't see much character development by the end of the book, they were still pulling the same kind of crap.

Aims42 I felt the same way, and I have no desire to continue reading the series. Which is such a bummer because the premise sounded soooo good! 3mo
RamsFan1963 I like the concept, but I've been burned too many times by Patterson's hack writing, I usually skip books with his name associated with it. 3mo
MonicaLoves2Read @RamsFan1963 I have gotten that way, too. A friend said that they just loved the book, so I thought I would try him, again 3mo
MonicaLoves2Read @Aims42 it was a good premise but the writing ir something just didn't work 3mo
