Just finished my latest adventure with Jessica, now I'm lost lol. I'm having the hardest time picking a new book to read and listen next (I usually have one audiobook and either one physical book or ebook on the go for different reading situations) and it's getting quite frustrating.
Feeling a little yucky today so I'm taking a break from everything with Mrs. Fletcher
Happy 4th! Starting my afternoon starting my #seasonalcozies pick for July while grilling up some chicken breast to make chicken salad with later! Going to be a quiet day (my husband works for CBP and he worked 16 hours last night with another 16 hour shift tonight so he needs SLEEP) filled with books, grilling, some soft music, and a few drinks with my sister.
Today‘s prompt brings to mind a beverage I discovered on a honeymoon to Jamaica many years ago… a decadent chocolate martini, a rare treat.
2 Tbsp. chocolate syrup, plus more for drizzling
4 oz. Baileys Irish Cream
4 oz. chocolate liqueur
4 oz. vodka
Shaved chocolate or whipped cream (recipe for 2).
