Jessica is in Arizona cheering on the foster son of friends when murder happens. Of course it does—she attracts murder wherever she goes! The darker side of baseball is revealed, with sex, drugs, and gambling, not to mention prejudice and power purchased by wealth. Good escape reading. My April choice for #ThematicCozies
"It also calls for coconut milk, but I didn't have that, so I improvised and substituted Pina colada mix."
I live in a small (tiny) town, so I do my fair share of substituting when it comes to recipes, but I don't think I'd ever go that route lol
I enjoy these books more when George isn't in them. The quasi sort-of budding romance aspect feels too forced & not at all like Jessica to me.
This one's a January Book Bingo selection as well as part of a series (in fact, all the books I've read so far this month have been from different series ... never you mind how many are new series started lol).

Trying to get these mittens done for my niece in case my dad comes by tomorrow so I can send them up to her, but also really want to read my book. Guess it's time to switch to the ebook

Jessica is invite to Mexico to spend some time with friends. The friends didn‘t get the memo that wherever Jessica goes murder follows (and I say that with lots of love because I adore Murder, She Wrote). Jessica has to sift through the clues to find the killer (and a kidnapper too). Fast read. I loved the cultural references in this one…a quick lesson in rural Mexico. #192025 #2005
It's a good day to check back in with the happenings in Cabot Cove
Finished another adventure with Mrs. Fletcher
