I am trying out a new-to-me creative hobby - art journaling! I‘ve done the front cover (both sides) and the first page. We‘ll see if the hobby sticks but I am enjoying it! And hopefully, the more I do it, the better I‘ll get. 🎨
***And before anyone yells at me, I had a book whose spine broke and the pages started falling out, so I decided to repurpose them into art! 😂

@Read4life ... what lovely birthday gifts! They feed all of my book-nerdy passions! The journal book is lovely, and the pages are so creamy-dreamy! The book cozy is adorable and will be perfect for my trip to Canada next week. And did you know I posted about looking for some pens for my haiku yesterday? These pens are AWESOME! I'm so glad to have found you here, my friend. Thank you, Lynn. 🩵💙🩵

Really fun microhistory about something I am obsessed about: notebooks. It is very well written, with each chapter covering interesting historical vignettes about notebooks from mainly Renaissance to the present. I feel it is not thorough, but it is illuminating and well written, and you can enjoy it even if you are not a notebook nerd.
My cat also enjoyed it, as you can see.She gives it a definite Paws up!
I journal. I don‘t journal before bed every night if I don‘t have anything to write about but recently, I reapplied for the St. Martin‘s Press Early Readers Program after being in their program for years and they rejected me. I wrote about it in my journal. It ended up being a 3 page journal entry. I realized what bothered me the most was that they never used to care about how many followers you have and now, they do.
