Bk7 of my #JulyBookHaul is a signed copy of Jasper Fforde‘s new novel. In a world where rabbits are the new minority, Peter Knox lives in a small country village where things are peaceful. Until Doc & Constance Rabbit move next door, upsetting the local members of the Anti-Rabbit party who start a campaign to have them moved on. Peters forced to choose between his village and his new neighbors who just want to live in peace. Sounds intriguing🐰

Bk6 of my #JulyBookHaul is the 2nd book from my #FairyLoot June box. It‘s an absolutely stunning edition of a YA book based on African culture. 16yr old Deka is praying her blood runs red during the ceremony that determines if she‘s a member of her community, but when the day comes, her blood is gold. Faced with death or banishment, she is offered a choice to fight in an army of girls like her for the emperor. Sounds interesting!

Bk2 in my #JulyBookHaul is a FairyLoot signed edition of a YA book based on Hmong folktales. Sirscha has been in training for years to be the next royal spy, but when shamans attack & kill her best friend Saengo, she manifests the ability to restore her back to life. Now summoned to the court of the Spider King, she becomes part of the force holding back the haunted Dead Wood. It‘s a lovely edition & sounds intriguing.

It‘s the 1st days of August so that means it‘s time for #JulyBookHaul! First up is the third in Barrie‘s thriller series set in the Tasmanian bush. The Atherton family run a Mountain Lodge & farm which has hikes & rides into the wilds of Tassie. After the events of the previous books, Tess Atherton is reluctant to guide a group of young hikers into the cold winter but feels safer out there than at home. But danger has gone out with her.
