Traci1 I think I liked Girl just a teeny bit more, but this one was really really good. 7y

JaneyWaneyB @Traci1 it has been a bit of a slow start and I'm not warming to the characters like I did with Girl. I'm spending a lot of time trying to work out if it takes place before or during Girl 🤔 The action has just started so sticking with it Carey is easy to read 7y

Thanks to @swishandflick for recommending this audiobook to me. I really enjoyed it. Not only was M.R. Carey‘s book an original spin on the zombie apocalypse that would have made a great read, but I really think Finty Williams elevated the story with the quality of her performance, giving it a dark fairytale quality with both horror and heart.
