I did it! I visited 10 indie bookstores in Chicago and now I'll get 10% at all 24 bookstores that participated in the challenge for a whole year. All the books!! 🙆🏻 I'm so tired. So is my wallet. 😆 I'll post more tomorrow. #independentbookstoreday #MyChicagoBookstore #chibd17

I love celebrating Independent Bookstore day but this has got me beyond excited!! I was already planning on hitting up two of the bookstore with my kids but I think I'm gonna have to ditch them for the rest of the day. 😆 Any other Chicago Littens going to try to hit up 10 or more bookstores this Saturday? #MyChicagoBookstore

Lola I am bummed that the spring #Dewey's #readathon conflicts with Indy Bookstore Day but I'm sure I'll make up for lost reading time on Sunday with new books acquired on Saturday 😛 7y

Lola @angrylilasian Not sure how many I'll get to, but I know for sure that I'm hitting at least four. Two years ago, when each store had a page of a Stuart Dybek chapbook to collect, I went to all of the participating stores. I love when they do this sort of thing! So much fun!! 7y
