Cold Eternity | S.A. Barnes

Pickpick

Halley is looking for a place to lay low from a political scandal that has put a target on her back. A job on the 'Elysian Fields', a spaceship where hundreds of bodies lies cryogenically frozen awaiting reanimation should the technology become available, seems like a godsend. Apart from the caretaker, Karl, there's not a soul aboard - well not one who is awake anyway.......

OutsmartYourShelf This is a very atmospheric (in both senses) read, I could really picture myself as Halley aboard the slowly deteriorating ship. The setting of a floating cryogenic store in space is a really creepy one & it works so well here. The storyline didn't go in quite the way I had imagined before reading it, but it was an interesting take. If you like sci-fi horror, then this author's books are well worth reading. 4🌟 1d
