AllisonM89 @TheAromaofBooks this month of all kinds of weird between vacation, extended school year, etc. I have no idea how much or how little I'm actually going to get to read through. It'll be interesting! 4y

TheAromaofBooks Yes, August is when my fall job at an orchard starts to pick up. Some years I work a lot of hours this month and other years not so many, because it just depends on what fruit is coming on when!!! I'm trying to get as much reading in as I can while I can!! 4y

Oh, I loved this book. De Lint's Newford - where magic lives right on the verge of reality. He addresses so many difficult subjects with such sensitivity. And his characters might be some of my favorites. Can't wait to jump into the third Newford book. #NewfordOrBust

TobeyTheScavengerMonk Memory and Dream, Trader, and Someplace to Be Flying are the best full Newford novels and The Ivory and the Horn is the next Newford short story book. They‘re all wonderful. 4y
