so-soBlech. I‘m just not enjoying this series, it started strong but has veered into a realm that doesn‘t do it for me. But with only one book left, I have to finish!

so-soI listened to the entire book at work yesterday. Very enjoyable series I plan to continue the series. Maybe I can finish book 2 during my next overnight shift.
so-soSo I‘m definitely vested in where this series is going but I don‘t think Scott is doing a particularly good job setting up what I assume is going to be a big showdown in the final book. I don‘t think he laid enough groundwork for the way this instalment ends to be plausible but it‘s an interesting starting point for the next book.

so-soI'm conflicted on this... I want to know how everything plays out but I wouldn't say I'm really enjoying the books. Josh is a little whiny and I'm starting to feel like Scott is cramming too many figures and types of monsters/creatures in. It's a lot to keep track of. I suspect this would make a better movie/tv show than book?
