Cinfhen Hi!!!!! Hope all is well 💕💕 6y
BookNerd9906 @Cinfhen Hi!!! I am good. Lying in bed with a book and coffee enjoying a relaxing snow day here in New England! How are you? 6y

Cinfhen Snow day?!?! It was a beautiful 84 degrees today and I‘m curled up on the couch with an excellent ARC 6y
BookNerd9906 @Cinfhen so jealous. I‘m not a fan of cold or snow... but snow days off to read in bed isn‘t such a bad gig. 6y
Billypar Yup...pretty damn creepy- at least Lisbeth made him pay for it! 6y
BookNerd9906 @Billypar definitely! 6y

Mary Shelly is marvellously brought to life in this gothic illustrated account of her life - her hardships & struggles in early life, her inspiration for creating Frankenstein, and her relationship with Percy Shelly, a tormented poet & married man, which caused her being banished by her family. Despite all these, Mary was able to channel her grief into a book which is arguably considered the ‘first true science fiction story.‘

Cinfhen Your blurb makes me want to read tagged book immediately. I‘ve always been weary of reading Frankenstein but her life seems so much more interesting 6y
erzascarletbookgasm @cinfhen Please read it! A fascinating account of her life and stunning artwork. 🖤 6y
Cinfhen Stacked!!! 6y
JazzFeathers I'm always in awe that she was so young when she wrote it 6y
Billypar Ooh- what a great concept! 6y

Another fascinating book I‘ve been meaning to read.

The book detailed the account of the Manson Murders, and prosecution of Charles Manson (leader and #creator of a communal religious cult) and his ‘Family‘.

Cathythoughts Nice one ! I think I‘d like to read this one too. ... 6y
Cinfhen We read this for bookclub last year and all the ladies really enjoyed. Myself included 😊It‘s very detailed which got a bit overwhelming but otherwise it was really interesting and quite hard to put down. 6y
kaysworld1 I've read that one very interesting and very detailed. I did thoroughly enjoyed it. He was good at brain washing his followers. 6y
JulAnna I also thought this was fascinating! 6y
Billypar So very creepy and disturbing- the dark side of creativity and charisma! 6y

With a huge asteroid guaranteed to hit the earth and cause mass extinction, everyone in Winters' novel knows they're #screwed. How this affects people and law and orders really gives the story an original edge #NoFemmBer @Cinfhen @billypar

Cinfhen I really like this author!!! I should probably read this series at some point 6y
Dragon I really enjoyed this trilogy! 😀🐉 6y
Billypar I like the idea of the asteroid hit and extinction being certain from the start. This way you're not hoping it's going to turn out okay during the whole thing only to be let down. 🌍🎆⌛ 6y

AlaMich This was a great trilogy! It caused me to think about many interesting things I‘d never considered before. 6y
Moray_Reads @AlaMich I've only read the first one so far but really enjoyed it 6y
AlaMich @Billypar That‘s a good point. It would‘ve been easy for the author to make it suspenseful like that, but he chose to make the book about bigger issues than “will the asteroid really hit?” 6y
