pickMy #BookSpin @TheAromaOfBooks book this month was a graphic novel. I found and read this one (found on Libby) about this adorable little girl who visits her family in Mexico. As a guera, myself, a lot of it felt very “real“ but of course different too. I loved the Spanish throughout.
Also, pan dulce is life!!!

pickVery nicely drawn graphic novel. I think the subject matter was way heavier than you would have guessed, with all the pretty pink pictures. All in all, I think it was great :) Nice ending to the story, ties everything all together.
