The Woman in Me | Britney Spears

4½✨

I can't say I'm a Britney fan, but I have a few songs I love. Funny thing, those are the songs she mentions that really means something to her.
This was such a raw, open, and honest account of what Britney had to endure. My heart bleeds for her turmoil and pain.

I hope she finds all her healing and the Woman she needs to be for herself.

Enchanted_Bibliophile I also need to add that I loved Michelle Williams as the narrator, she has such a calming effect. 11mo

Due to a very bad reading slump this one took me way too long to finish.
This was an interesting twist. I didn't expect us to see so much of Sidney in captivity.
I do enjoy Adrian's pov, he's such a misunderstood character.
Love them together 😍

Can't believe I'm almost done with the series.

Most of my favourite musicals have the name Webber somewhere in them. So I thought why not try this audiobook.
But this was not quite as interesting as I thought it would be. At some points I actually found it boring. And the parts where he talks about music composition I was totally lost.

This was an interesting set-up.
Making all the narratives unrealibe isn't something I came across before. And while I found it frustrating most of the time, I got why Feeney chose to do it that way.
I got most of the twists figured out way before they happened, but still had to see if I got it right...
Not my favourite by Feeney.

I really enjoyed this one!
Serial Killers and Profiling are my favourite genres in fiction, so I thought, this, being the birth of behavioural analysis would either kill that love or amplify it. Glad to report the latter.
Going through all the different cases and scenarios, seeing the behind the scenes of what was put into creating a department in the FBI solely focusing on criminal behaviour and background. Fascinating from start to finish.

For the majority of this book I couldn't stand Lift. She kinda drives me crazy with all her awesomeness and her inability to listen or be responsible.
But in the end I get why those things were punctuated and I see the birth of a fantastic character.

This one is also packed with additional info that will no doubt play a big part in the whole of the Stormlight Archives.

This one dragged on and on with back story information that I really didn't care about.
The only thing I enjoyed was Lisbeth's trail and the conclusion of the series.
The suspense and mystery was what got me into these books, but it was totally lacking in this book.

If you ever wondered what happens to the children that don't find Eleanor West's Home for Wayward Children. Then you should definitely read this one.
As always brilliant writing from McGuire - lyrical, magical and entrancing.

I'm loving how every character makes a reappearance somewhere in this series.

Brilliant!
Dark, Tense, and Mysterious. This is exactly what I want to read when I pick up a Mystery/Thriller.
An extremely well thought-out plot with well developed characters. Just the right combination of everything that makes a book in my opinion.
The only thing that got me was all the names. I had to listen to pronunciations multiple times before my brain got it.

Enchanted_Bibliophile I love that I got to learn a bit about Sweden, I don't think I've previously read anything set there.

I'm curious to see what the next installment of the Millennium trilogy will be.

I read this book in 2016 for the first time and fell in love with everything about it. But then I had to wait for the second one and somehow never got around to reading it.
So I picked up Wayfarer, but was so totally confused with the events happening that I had to come back to this one for a quick update.

I thoroughly enjoyed this re-read and the first chapter of Wayfarer already has me wanting to know just what exactly is going on.

Enchanted_Bibliophile Somehow I was convinced one of the main characters passed away 🤷🏼‍♀️ So imagine my surprise when I opened the next book to find them alive and well 🫤 2y
