This was just a fun book. Plus I always give bonus points to books about non political people living in and around Washington, DC.

Today my heart is…guarded. On one hand, the news is horrible, and the situation in LA is yet another issue of disagreement in the household. On the other hand, I was born in California, so if they secede perhaps I could apply for birthright citizenship? #mentalhealthmonday

LOVED this! I‘m not a romance reader but I do love me a cute little love story! Linda Holmes has hit it out of the park for me, three for three. Substance and depth and humor and friendship and career and love - and a happy dog. PS: I‘m a very sweary person IRL but I truly appreciate that aside from a very well-placed f-you near the end, the author gave us characters with language skills that exceed my own, making cursing unnecessary. Lovely! 5⭐️

Another thoroughly enjoyable book from Holmes. And great on audio. Insider podcast info, a cute waiter, a Great Dane inspired meet-cute. What‘s not to like?!

A bit like Thank You For Listening, but about podcasts rather than audiobooks. I had some niggling issues but mostly enjoyed it, and there's a nice “worm turns“ arc for the main character. The author also narrates the audiobook.

This is the first book I've read by this author and I really liked it. I also have a Harlequin Great Dane (Sabrina) and the author depicted one perfectly. ❤️🐾 Super cute romance. I'm eager to read others by her. #romance #dogsoflitsy

This was a sweet romance but also I LOVED the parts about content creation, taking charge of your career, not waiting for someone to notice you‘re working hard, and constantly reinventing your business with shifting markets. Plus bonus, the book takes place in DC and has nothing to do with government and politics. Yes, people do live here, which is apparently a story that needs to be told more.

I‘m not much of a romance reader but I will always read Linda Holmes (and Emily Henry.) Happy to have something fun to read on this cold, dark, rainy Monday. The library came through for me again.

This was funny, sweet and exactly what I want from a romance. I really liked learning more about making a podcast as well.
Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for the advance copy.

Adored this and found it a perfect and much-needed escape from reality! I especially loved that Linda Holmes narrated the audio version herself. My favorite of her three novels so far!
