panI love reading historical fiction, so I was excited to get to read Etiquette for Lovers and Killers by Anna Fitzgerald Healy. Alas, I was disappointed. I was so happy when I finally finished the book. It was very slow to me. It flipped between Billie McCadie's love life and her trying to solve a murder. It's set in 1964, and I found one thing that didn't match 1964 (could have possibly been more), Healy talked about a characters mustache ⬇️

It's a short book with 5 True Crime stories. The main one is about the I-70 Strangler. Herb Baumeister was a married man, but he had homosexual tendencies. He was committed to a psychiatric hospital as a youth by his father. His wife could count on her hand the number of types they had sex in 25 years of marriage. He committed over 21 murders. The other 4 stories are missing person cases and murder cases. Mine is not a popular ⬇️
