Last few Star Wars books have been the same damn plot--kidnap, rescue, lots of close calls. It's been like reading a season of The A-Team.

Truly amazing artwork of Star Wars characters, places and spaceships. A must read for any Star Wars fans.
This series-by-committee takes us back to Yoda's past. The Yoda/Anakin arc by Guggenheim and Miracolo is the best of the three. The Phil Noto covers are great.
Listening to the thunder and starting this month's #DoubleSpin Can't think of a better way to spend a Friday night 😁
I really liked how the author tackled this epic movie, reimagining it, Like I said in Luke's POV, so there's opening chapters where Luke walks the reader through Jedi Tutorials, or glosses over the mushy romance stuff, well mostly, so that the reader feels like he's learning from Luke but also experiencing the whole book in his shoes, which is different from the first book in the series.

First, we read about young Kenobi. Now we read about older Kenobi. And both books made me love him even more. I mean, he's so... gentle? Lovely? I don't know. I just wish more people (men) were like him. Not a really helpful review, I know, but there were a lot of feelings involved when I read these books.

A prequel/tie-in to the landmark Jedi: Fallen Order video game, Dark Temple gives us Eno Cordova's backstory. It's a classic Jedi mediation scenario where it may be impossible to find a peaceful way out of conflict between rival factions.
A fun little intra-dark side skirmish between Darth Sidious, Count Dooku, and General Greivous, on one side, and Darth Maul and Mother Talzin on the other. The only thing that bugged me is that Greivous speaks nothing like he does in Revenge of the Sith. The dark side eats its young.
This was such a fun read.
Told from the three perspectives of the main cast, Leia (princess), Han (scoundrel) and Luke (farm boy), the movie is adapted with additional character insight, background, and emotional depth to the scenes I know and love from the characters themselves.
The audiobook was amazing. Marc Thompson, a solid narrator within the Star Wars books in my opinion, and Rebecca Soler did a fantastic job with the characters.

Now here‘s a man who had me swooning when I watched him in Lady Sings the Blues and Dynasty, cheering for Lando Calrissian in the Star Wars Universe & then bawling my eyes out during Brian‘s Song. Fans still mention his speech as Chicago Bear Gale Sayers. “This movie accomplished something special by getting tens of millions of people to see the humanity we all share.” What a versatile actor, singer, painter and sweet man…still suave at 88!😍🙌🏻
