#MarchMadness #SafePassage

Playing catch up on prompts for the past couple of days.

I picked this book from an e-book cozy series because of the title & because the MC, Mary O‘Reilly, is like a safe passage for the spirits of the departed to pass through. She uses her detective skills (she was a cop before she was shot, died & was brought back to life & now sees ghosts) to help the dead tie up loose ends & move on. 1st book tagged👇🏻

Whisper Network: A Novel | Chandler Baker

Pickpick

Just finished bingeing the last half of this book. Hopefully my heart will start climbing down out of my throat soon so I can start breathing again. Important, yes, but this book is also so addictive! #hellosunshine #metoo

P.S. I caught the #MarchMadness fever! This book chronicles the very (un)#safepassage(s) of women in the corporate world. Reading the Author's Note about why Baker wrote this book was particularly impactful to me.

Hooked_on_books I loved this one! 5y

#MarchMadness Day 5: Not sure about #SafePassage but Cronin‘s The Passage and the rest of the books in the series has been sitting in my shelves unread. Should I bump it up my TBR stack?

TheBookKeepers I enjoyed them!

Eggs Great choice❣️ not familiar with these but they sound good 5y
Kimberlone This is such a good series! Normally this would be out of my wheelhouse but I found myself totally falling love with the cast of characters. The author does some really interesting things narratively too. 5y

GatheringBooks @TheBookKeepers oooh! good to know. now seriously considering starting the series. 5y
GatheringBooks @Eggs i usually resist reading series because it requires commitment, and a huge chunk of time - but now that we are having an early spring break i just might crack these babies open. 5y
GatheringBooks @Kimberlone i have heard nothing but good things about this series. really looking forward to it. 5y
GatheringBooks @marleed ah! true! the black and white covers are oddly compelling. 5y
sprainedbrain YES. This is one of my very favorite series ever. ❤️ 5y
Hooked_on_books Yes! The Passage is fabulous. The Twelve is quite good. And The City of Mirrors is a satisfying end. Do it! 5y
