Most of the lead characters in this novel are terrible people and I wanted to throw them all over a cliff at different points. But if course I knew what I was getting into after the first book, and I still wanted to see where these authors were taking us. Only a pick if you like reading about terrible people and people who make dumb decisions. Apparently I do.
I added all my unread books to the #ISpy overview in Storygraph. In the bingo you see the books that I own for February prompts of which I actually read just four ✅. And I did tick off some more books of my January bingo card. Anyhow, lots to read 🤦🏻♀️😉

Lots of secrets, illegal transactions, shady characters, and a few unrealistic but good things that do happen.
It‘s a good one. Have YOU heard of this book and/or read it?

Daylight stretched long over the base, casting sharp shadows where memories of Faith stood watch. The sun rose as ordered, the world moved as it must, but without her, even the clearest day felt hollow. Missing you, Faith.
This is probably fine for a psychological suspense novel. I read it because it is a contender for CanadaReads this year. Is this the book every Canadian should read? Does every Canadian need to think most of the people in their lives are awful and untrustworthy?
Canada Reads. Book 3. How did this even make the list?! I almost bailed, but I thought no, there must be more to it. Maybe I‘m wrong. So I read it all. I was not wrong. It fits the formula of a thriller. But it‘s not thrilling. It‘s boring and predictable and I regret wasting my time. I also have no idea how it fits the theme of changing the narrative.
