All the Wrong Places | Joy Fielding
Pickpick

Wow! This book was a tangled web of lies, sex, and backstabbing….oh, and death. The ending of this book was pretty shocking and somewhat sad, even if the character that has the most tragic end was a pretty horrible person. Very well written and the dialogue had me chuckling and cringing. I loved it! I would give this 4.3 stars.

Special thanks to NetGalley for providing me this ARC.

I added all my unread books to the #ISpy overview in Storygraph. In the bingo you see the ones that fit a March prompt of which I actually read just one 🤦🏻‍♀️ I hope and expect to tick off some more books during the year!

Ruthiella We Ride Upon Sticks was fun. 1w
BarbaraBB @Ruthiella I didn‘t read it when it was in the #ToB but one day I will! 1w
Suet624 Again, I have no idea what you‘re doing here with the ISpy prompt but I applaud you on your many prompt-attempts. 😊 1w

#Read2025 #SeriesLove2025 This has been in my Audible library for over a decade. It‘s a long time coming for me to check this one off my list. I enjoyed the first couple of books in the series, but the quality has gone downhill five books in. Only one left to listen to and I will listen to it within the next couple of months. I‘ve got to find out what happens in the end.

TheSpineView Great job for pushing through! 👏👏👏 2w
CatLass007 @TheSpineView Thanks! The book‘s not awful because if it was I‘d bail. It‘s an entertaining mystery because it doesn‘t require too much mental heavy lifting. It‘s a good palette cleanser. (edited) 2w

Mitch‘s wife, Holly, has been kidnapped, and Mitch must scrounge up $2 million to save her. He is willing to go to the ends of the earth to bring his wife home. But how far is too far? What would you do to save the one you love?
I loved this book; it wasn‘t my favorite of his, but it definitely had twists and turns that I didn‘t see coming. It had me on the edge of my seat. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Thank You @TheSpineView for creating this fun play-card & Thanks for the tag 🌺🐎💝.

Wonderful time for #Two4Tuesday to return, Springtime 🥳.

1- Every Flower 🌺🌻. One of long-time favorites is the white magnolia 😍.

2- although the attached has a flower on the cover, the bloom happens in summertime. I fell in love with the Queen of the Desert before realizing that the flower has a connection to my heritage 😍.

The books on my Kindle “shelves” with a #KeyHole on the cover. I‘ve only read the tagged book so far although I‘ll be reading The Briar Club next month for #AuthorAMonth & @JacqMac ‘s #AuldLangSpine list. The other 2 are in my #TBR

Eggs I enjoyed The Briar Club and Turn of the Key! 3w

Mehso-so

The token genre pick on this year‘s #CanadaReads shortlist. I‘ll bet it gets voted off first or second.

Blueberry I agree. 1mo
TheKidUpstairs I keep forgetting that the debates start on Monday. I'm hoping they are more engaging than the selections. It was a pretty underwhelming year, IMO, I liked a couple but didn't really love any of them. I was kind of excited to see a thriller pick, but did not like this book at all. 1mo
BookishTrish Prediction = confirmed 3w
Blueberry I'm really enjoying the debates this year. Everyone is pleasant and respectful to each other and knowledgeable about all the books. They all give convincing arguments in favor of their books. 3w
