“I became a skater because I wanted to feel like that. Fierce. Confident. A warrior goddess covered in glitter. So sure of myself, I could make my dreams come true through sheer force of will.”

WOW! 5 🌟 Think Taylor Jenkins Reid but with multiple narrators, more like readers‘ theatre.

I can‘t say this book was terrible but definitely not my fav by Hoover. It‘s just didn‘t capture me in the beginning and once the twist came I was already checked out. This is a series and I will not be reading the others as I just didn‘t feel invested in the characters and don‘t really care to continue their journey. I did like how to story connected in the end and I definitely didn‘t see the end coming.

Very good. Full of romance and drama. It is a very loose retelling of Wuthering Heights with ice dancing. I didn't think I would enjoy it as I don't know much about the world of Ice dancing but that is just the backdrop to this story and my lack of knowledge didn't spoil the story, to be honest I actually learnt lots about the subject as the author's knowledge shone through in the wonderful writing.#Vintage

This was a fun and more lighthearted read than the thrillers I‘ve been reading lately. 😂 The day before their wedding goes horribly wrong, then they keep reliving it. I did enjoy it but wasn‘t great.

The drama upon drama in this book made it perfect summer reading for me. I think ice skating/Olympics fans will enjoy this one.

I'm so happy that I started a challenge reading 20 randomly picked Kindle books I've acquired over the years because this one was another win.

This was such a great hockey romance. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

When the main character in a romance novel is saying life is good, but you're only 75% into a book.... 😬

Hello, third act breakup. 😅🙄😂

From the first chapter I felt connected to our main character Nell. She is in her forties, a past full of misadventure and failed relationships and is now renting a room from Edward.
There's a lot of humor here, and compassion too. I loved her friendships with both her immediate friendship group but also her developing friendship with Cricket, a woman in her eighties, recently widowed.
There's fun, there's trauma, there's grief, there's community
