Interesting addition to the original Handmaid's tale. It answers some questions but also leaves it open to interpretation as to what actually happened on the end. Not necessarily needed as The Handmaid's Tale was perfect on its own but it was still a good companion to it.

Been wanting to read this epic tale but still waiting to be in the right mood to fully enjoy the writing. And I‘m still looking through different translations to find the one that suit me. I don‘t want to rush but slowly enjoy every details of it .

Very good. A great adaptation of a gripping story. Beautiful storyboards. Recommended for any fans of the well known book.

I adored The Warbride‘s Scrapbook and was sad to learn my library didn‘t carry this one. I lucked out and found a copy on eBay for $3! So excited when I realized it was set in my fave time period, the 1920s. I love everything about this book: the story told in scrapbook format, with detours at Vassar, the Mauretania and Paris. Worth reading and I‘m definitely glad I own it. 5⭐️ Highly recommended!

So, writing books about pirates is a lot harder than it looks! I had to dive into oceans of research to get the most realistic and accurate portrayals of pirates, even though my new series is a historical fantasy. But this book was definitely one of my favorite sources of inspiration! ☠
