So difficult to choose, as many of the ‘best of‘ lists only include well-known authors. Instead, I looked on #netgalley, which wasn‘t good for my TBRor my %!

I already have the Straub on #netgalley and the Kukafka has been on my radar for a while, and is also on Barbara‘s list. The others were all influenced by #covercrush and there is a bit of a theme of dysfunctional families…. Must be my thing! 🤣

thebluestocking I love the idea of heading to Netgalley. These look great! I struggled with finding books that wouldn‘t be up for the rooster anyway, so I went with nonfiction. I loved that camp year. 2y

I used The Millions “most anticipated” book list and whittled it down to these for the Tournament of Books Summer Camp 2022. I don‘t read a lot of front list books, so it was a bit of a struggle to choose but now I‘m totally excited to see what makes the cut! 🐓

BarbaraBB This is great! I didn‘t know about a new Dan Chaon but am thrilled about it! I was thinking too of the Flamingo‘s. I read How High and didn‘t really enjoy it but I am a minority there. The other books I‘ll have to check out! (edited) 2y

Ruthiella I‘ve not heard of ANY of these and only know one of the authors (Brooks). I would be totally OK with these were they selected for Summer Camp! 👍 I rely on the TOB to introduce me to new stuff. 2y
