Sarah Miller, #LitsyAuthor, has given a very balanced account of #TheBordenMurders a #truecrime that happened on August 4, 1892. As a maid and Lizzie Borden were the only ones home at the time of the murders, Lizzie became a major suspect. She was arrested, tried and found innocent as the prosecution didn‘t have any real evidence against her. Even after all this time, nobody has actually been charged with the murder. Very interesting book!

Crazeedi @EadieB 👍💕 5y
Reviewsbylola I really enjoyed this one. I‘m still leaning toward guilty when it comes to Lizzie‘s involvement. 5y
EadieB @Reviewsbylola I keep going back and forth from guilty to innocent but always think about how odd she was and her angry moments which make me think she was guilty. 5y
Reviewsbylola Right, and it‘s also a process of elimination. If not Lizzie, then who? 5y
EadieB @Reviewsbylola Right and she would be the only person who would have enough time to clean up all the evidence. 5y

EadieB @gradcat I‘m getting a little nervous about coronavirus. Will have to cancel trip to England/Scotland if things get worse. 5y
EadieB @gradcat I‘ll probably read it in April. 5y
gradcat @EadieB You know, I actually thought of you when they started warnings about public spaces and air flights...I am so hoping you get to go...that we get through this awful thing & you guys can still make it. I‘m crossing my fingers for you, Eadie ♥️ 🤞🏼 🛫 5y
EadieB @gradcat Thanks! But we have to wait and see what things are like at the time of our final payment. I have a very compromised immune system and 2 weeks on enclosed bus with other passengers will not be good. 5y
gradcat @EadieB Oh yes—your rheumatoid arthritis! Yes, Eadie, better to take care of yourself...keep me posted on your plans. ♥️ 5y
