This is a sad book. It touches on a few sensitive real life topics. A lot of raw emotions expressed.
I enjoyed the story. It was well written and kept me tangled in the characters feelings.
If you can get this in audio version, the narrator does a beautiful job.

pickA wardrobe basic; an easy, diary style, holiday read. I read it in a day, it served that purpose. It's a pudding book. Not main course. The premise is relevant - on point - the prose is unsophisticated. That said, I enjoyed the drunkenness of Rachel. So many women are that. I have been. Hence, it's on point. About Rachel, on a train that sees into houses - invents the lives of occupants - then becomes embroiled.

Oooh I started this on audiobook and I got about an hour in before I was yelling at this character yo atio whining so much. I couldn't relate to this character at all. Haven't wanted to pick it up again.

I really enjoyed the narration of this, it was a great car ride listen. I'm probably the last person in the world to jump into this book and I found it to be just "ok". Extremely unlikable characters so if that's your thing, you're golden. I don't really get the hype or the Gone Girl comparisons but I will say that it's fast paced and dark.
