This short novel by Nobel Prize winner Albert Camus has appeared on many noteworthy ‘must read‘ lists (including that of David Bowie) and for that alone I‘d recommend it. The story centers on an indifferent and disconnected twenty-something and his increasingly difficult circumstances. It‘s profound, yet I couldn‘t help but think of monosyllabic ‘Chad the pool boy‘ character on SNL shrugging an ‘Okay‘ to everything. #thestranger #existentialism

Imagine, a stranger walks into your life and with just one short conversation shatters your perfect life. Very intense book, it's almost breathtaking with all those twists in it.
