Didn't love the art style and *really* didn't love how relevant all the political content still or again is 😭 but this is a funny and warmhearted collection of comics. A group of queer friends, all with their own complicated identities or lack thereof, find their way through money problems, dating disasters, terrrible laws, and terrible decisions, with each other to lean on and learn from.

Got the rest of my reads for the #TransRightsReadathon lined up for this week!
#TransRightsReadathon late to the readathon & late to getting to this title that‘s been on my TBR for a long time. Might get to some trans nonfiction, my reading time hasn‘t been as much as I would like it to be lately.
I'm finishing up Propoganda Girls on audio this weekend and reading A Gentleman's Gentleman and My Best Friend's Honeymoon for the #TransRightsReadathon
#WeekendReads
Decided to start this one on audio since none of my current listens were as cheery as I've been wanting
Loving it so far! The narrator does a lovely Irish accent for Muriel and I can't get enough of her and Kit's banter.
In the author's note, Lowell self-identifies as a cis-queer writer with a trans masculine historian partner, and used their experiences as a couple as well as archival research in writing this story

Yesterday kicked off the #TransRightsReadathon which runs through March 31. It celebrates trans authors and/or characters, and invites folks to donate to organizations that help protect trans rights or support and uplift trans folks. Yesterday was a travel day for me, so I spent my flight times enjoying these. Mostly focused on Deadendia (which spawned the Netflix show Dead End Park) because of flight anxiety. #TRR #Comics #LGBTQIA #AceStories
A transgender man winds up back in his home town and makes a lot of discoveries... including his former teen self, somehow. A soft pick, but I'm disappointed I didn't like it more. The book feels kind of unfinished to me, like a really good editor could have fixed a *lot* about it. There are some excellent moments but they don't jell into an excellent book.
