Read this on my flight back home today. Although it has some emotional parts it didn‘t resonate with me. I felt like some parts could have used more emotion. When a verse was emotional, it really grabbed you. I enjoyed overall, but I‘ve read many memoirs that leave a lasting impact. If you haven‘t read Speak I would do that first as there are several references to Speak in Shout. #memoir #poetry #travelreads

And so it begins! First flight, 1.5 hours. Not long enough for a whole book, but the next one is definitely long enough. 😂
