Ten hours and #twenty-four minutes left in this book. Either my kindle is broken, or I've been reading very slowly.

#booksandcoffee this morning. I'm meeting a friend in about an hour. Had to leave too early because my son had forgotten the book the class is reading at the moment. So, mummy to the rescue.

#twenty-two

Enjoying this ARC that started with the search for Agatha Christie, whose car had been found abandoned at a nearby lake.

Knots And Crosses | Ian Rankin

One of my favourite Detective series which is set in my favourite city, Rebus and Edinburgh respectively, currently has #21 books in the series. It all started off with Knots and Crosses, and the 21st book is Rather Be The Devil. Knots and Crosses is a great introduction to the series! Definitely a 5 star series, I hope Ian Rankin still writes more. #NovemberByTheNumbers #Twenty-One

Richryan52 @andrew65 just checked this out on your recommendation 7y
Andrew65 @Richryan52 It is a great series and love the feel of the writing and in my opinion the series only gets better. Ian Rankin is a real master of his art and great to listen to about writing and the central character. Enjoy, I will look forward to your thoughts. 7y
Richryan52 @Andrew65 Five pages in and I‘m enjoying it already 7y

Blaire This poem was just read at a funeral I️ attended for my husband‘s law partner. It was his favorite. 7y
merelybookish @Blaire Seems an odd choice for a funeral but it always makes me happy when people have a favorite poem. ☺️ 7y

"A funny, moving memoir that follows Scott's adventures growing up in Botswana in a loving but eccentric family." #Twenty #NovemberByTheNumbers

slategreyskies I wonder what part of Botswana... I‘d read it if it was set in Maun. The only books I‘ve read that have been set in Botswana have been set in Gaborone. (edited) 7y
