Making your teenage daughter complicit in your extramarital affair (for years!) seems a tad unhealthy to me. Great memoir about a complicated mother-daughter relationship.

I thought the relationship between Katy and her Mom unhealthy. Katy could not do anything without her Mom's approval. She put her mother on a pedestal so high no one could live up to that.
