Vision in White | Nora Roberts

This was my first Nora Roberts book and it did not live up to my expectations. Maybe it's just this book? I don't know. I'm not eager to try another one.

The story was simple and boring. The characters were annoying and I couldn't get into the love story. I had to force myself to finish the book. This was not my cup of tea.

willaful I honestly think it's one of her best, so she just may not be for you. 1d

2nd last book of the year. My Bookclub book pick.
This was an entertaining read.
I‘ve been separated/divorced for about 10yrs now but this book caught me off guard and brought back some feelings that I thought I‘d put to rest. It was surprisingly insightful and even made me cry in one part but I won‘t share as it feels too intimate. You definitely can‘t judge this book by its cover. I still can‘t decide if it‘s a 3.5 or 4 ⭐️ read.

Rissreadswithcats @Reggie I think you would like this one. 💙 2d
Reggie I will check it out. My friend here read it this month also and recommended it to me. So that‘s 2 for 2. lol 23h

repost for @Soubhiville

Well #authoramonth readers, we have arrived in December, which brings us to Nora Roberts.

I started The Awakening today, which is the first in her fantasy trilogy. I‘m enjoying it more than I expected to!

Feel free to include any of her pen names in your reading this month, including the popular JD Robb books.

Do you know what you‘ll be reading?

The funny yet emotional tone of this book was exactly what I didn't know I needed.

A blend of humour and tenderness that offers a different perspective on the darker parts of loss and grief. With its thoughtful pacing, clever dialogue, and emotional richness, Espach weaves a captivating tale of strangers meeting and, in more ways than one, helping each other out.

Finally read this and loved it. I rate a book anymore not by the writing style but how I feel at the end of a book. 5 stars bc I loved Phoebe‘s realization that she is who she is and to just jump into what makes her feel good for herself. Excellent conversations that are depressing and funny!
