Not sure that this book merits the Reese‘s Book Club status. I mean, you only pick 12 books a year and it should be a stand-out. A jawdropper. Different than what you‘ve read before. This is a Scooby Doo episode. Well, without the dog and the villain dressed as a ghost. It wasn‘t bad, but isn‘t one that is a stand out.

I like all different kinds of mystery books, but especially procedurals with a hint of romance. #sundayfunday

I enjoyed this more than I expected to. Setting aside the somewhat frank discussions of suicide (bc that theme prevails throughout and if that‘s too much for you, maybe avoid this book) - the realistic portrayals of human vulnerability was really well done and heartfelt.

It reminded me a lot of The Midnight Library. I feel like if you liked this and haven‘t read that one, you should. 💖

I am still trying to decide what all I feel about this one. 💙🩷🤍
