Bailedbailed

#Wardens2014 #ReadAway2024 #ReadMyRoom #AwesomeApril #BookSpinBingo #WeekendReads #WeekendReading

I‘m disappointed in myself with for bailing on this one. There is an amazing amount of information, including photos and footnotes. I unfortunately can‘t seem to absorb everything properly. I‘m sinking in all the details and obvious back/forth that is required in order to get the whole picture of what was happening😢🤷🏻‍♀️

AshleyHoss820 I totally get this! I had the same issue with All the President‘s Men. Incredibly fascinating, but LOTS of information that my brain just didn‘t want to absorb. We can always try again another day! ☺️ 21h
DieAReader @AshleyHoss820 💯% agree! Quite interesting for sure but so info heavy that I keep getting different things confused. I‘ve been trying to get through it since December & 🤷🏻‍♀️it‘s just too much for my🧠 aparently. I‘ll check the 🎬movie out though for sure😏 20h

AshleyHoss820 @DieAReader Yes, definitely! I hear it‘s good! When my Mom was reading a book about Henry VIII‘s wives, I printed off pictures with notes for her, so she could use it as a reference. It happens to the best of us! 😂☺️ 17h
DieAReader @AshleyHoss820 I had my copy all post it covered & I was still struggling🤷🏻‍♀️🤭 17h
AshleyHoss820 @DieAReader The struggle is real!! 😂☺️ 16h

This weekend, I‘m reading Arrogant Playboy by Winter Renshaw. This is the third and final book in the Arrogant trilogy. It‘s really good so far. I‘m not going to finish this book this weekend but I‘m happy with the progress I‘ve made. I have 3 hrs and 38 mins left in the audiobook now. I‘m hoping to finish reading this book by the end of the month.

For the first time in a while, I feel fully engaged in and excited about everything I'm reading!

Audio - Not the End of the World by Hannah Ritchie. I feel like this should be required reading. I'm going to need to buy a copy to revisit!

Physical - All the Birds, Singing by Evie Wyld. I don't think there's an author out there who writes such wonderfully messy women. I'm loving it.

Karisimo Have you watched the tv show? I‘m wondering if the story is true to the book? 2d
Lesliereadsalot The tv show is very true to the first book although a bit of the tv show takes place in the second book. The second book and third book go really interesting places so the next season of the tv show should be great. I loved the first season and watched the whole thing over two days! @Karisimo 1d
Karisimo Thanks @Lesliereadsalot ! We just watched the first season and now the I‘m planning to read the first book for #litsyscifibookclub in May. 1d

I haven't touched my puzzle books in months, but I woke up this morning feeling like it was a puzzle kind of day. I also plan to finish a few shorter books from my kindle TBR.
