Finished rereading the series for the first time since when they all came out. As I finished the last page, my wristband (from picking up the book at midnight) fell out. Extra emotional throughout the entire journey, but especially after finishing book 7.

Happy coincidence to be posting this on the tenth anniversary of #dh release day. Not sure I will join in on the #cursedchild #hpchapteraday but think I will return for #fantasticbeasts. Haven't read that one yet.

Thanks for this journey. I completely loved it. Will watch further updates for sure.

Redjewel_7734 Great pic!!! We'll see you at Fantastic Beasts! I would also recommend the short story collections; they are wonderful insights into the backgrounds of some fave characters and deeper info on the Wizarding World. 7y

At midnight on July 21, 2007 I received my copy of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. I then raced home filled with joy and devoured the entire book in 12 hours. The story complete I was filled with mixed emotions. So I read it again this time slowly, taking a whole week to finish it. The story of the boy who lived was complete. All was well.

It's been 10 years and I will begin rereading Deathly Hallow at midnight, 7/21/2017. Join me.

TheNextBook @Jamesmelvinmitchell I know!!! But it still feels amazing to go back. I made sure to reread the previous six books before this one came out. I also made sure to finish all my physics homework so mu professor wouldn't kill me for not having it done! Then I was lost in the story that night. 7y

Riveted_Reader_Melissa 10 years! Wow, it's hard to believe it's been that long! I remember actually reserving my copy and going to Walmart at Midnight to pick it up at the release. I think this is something I'll have to join you for! 7y

Riveted_Reader_Melissa I haven't re-read them for awhile now, I use to re-read them up to each movie before the next installment came out in the theaters too. And that's been awhile now...so I'm definitely overdo! 7y

Riveted_Reader_Melissa Book 1 was published 20 years ago this June (June 26, 1997) and the final book was published 10 years ago this July (July 21, 2007). Guess I'll start June 26th maybe....😉 7y
