4 ⭐This book is adorable and would be great fun as a read aloud. An apple is about to fall from a tree and each animal takes a moment to think that is going to be mine. The way the author rhymes the story when she needs to and uses sound words like plop, fizz, etc. in other parts of the story makes this such a fun read. It a great ending. Also have to give it up to Eric Rothman, who did all the fantastic illustrations.
Teachers could use a story to tell the story of Johnny Appleseed and a fiction setting. They then can study the actual man, Johnny Appleseed is based off of and compare and contrast.
Week 4. Traditional Literature. I love this book! It allows children to hear a fiction story based on a true person. The illustrations are also great. Published in 2010.

One of my favourite horror movies - the script is that bad it's hilarious. 😂
A field trip, the PE teacher and the school principal play a big part. Also, one of Brad Pitt's first movie roles!

I decided to read this immediately after I finished Walter Isaacson's biography of Elon Musk to compare and contrast two men with very different images. Both have created monumental changes in the world of technology. Both men have very similar characteristics: unending drive, big thinking, challenging the status quo. But readers should also be paying close attention to their negative aspects, mutual fallibilities and personal failures.
