Took the mini to 2nd and Charles for Mother‘s Day shenanigans 😊 Decided to treat myself. Knew I could get the rest of the Percy Jackson series for cheap! But didn‘t expect to walk out with the whole Olympians series, too! Next up, Magnus Chase 😂

pickThe #bandwagon quiz-o-the-week is pretty spot on except it says that I'm not likely to get emotional, or recognize and deal with emotion in others. But this graphic novel gave me plenty of rage, of the kind lately reserved for reading the news, or the bi-monthly watching of Handmaids Tale (any more is too intense for me). Penny was an obv fav, but I didn't realize I'd invested in the other chars-Until the last frame. Satire so sharp it cuts, here.
