Pretending it‘s gardening time 💚
Full disclosure I love anything and everything Beatrix Potter. She was not only an amazing storyteller and artist she was also a keen scientific mind. This was a very interesting #nonfiction read that I highly recommend. #bookspin @thearomaofbooks
As a little girl I adored all things Beatrix Potter and I introduced my boys to Peter and another generation fell in love! This was a very well put together biography...one that I feel kids and adults alike will enjoy!
@AllDebooks THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING IN THIS PACKAGE! The 🍫 won't last long 😂
A yearly Xmas tradition in our house is to watch The Tailor of Gloucester, so I'm really excited for the tagged book to find out the meanings (although when I unwrapped it, I struggled to remember if there were any 💐 in the story! 😂)
The Fair Botanists has been on my radar for a while, so you've finally given me the motivation to read it 😂
My #tbr for the next weeks. Already started at least 7 of them (and a few books NOT on The List 😬) I will soon listen to The First 7 books of the Seven Sisters series before I finally will listen to Atlas. The shadow Sister is my favorite so far. 😊
I‘m glad I finally read this Christmas classic since Beatrix Potter often said it was her personal favorite! It sort of reminds me of the Elves and the Shoemaker which I did grow up reading around this time of year, but I‘m charmed that it‘s based on an actual piece of local history and has no relation to the Grimm story.
#3 in this series, set in London. Star goes to a bookshop in London to try to find her lost family. Not as historical as book 2 but a nice cozy story. Cece is now on the move so for sure I have to read book 4.
