I really love this book and Grace Lin‘s other books in this series. They explain math concepts to very young children in an unusually (maybe uniquely) respectful way. This one is about how different things are different sizes. #kidlit #boardbook

Herbie's Big Adventure | Jennie Poh

Another stop at a bookstore while out running some errands. Picked up a few books for myself, a book for little girl and a learn to read set for little guy. We have the Pete the Cat step into reading set for our little guy and he loves them but I feel it is more memorization at this point since he has read them so much. Figured another set couldn't hurt.

CarolynM I loved reading the Boynton books with my kids when they were small too. I can still recite my favourite 20 years later
