littlelibrarian I worked in public libraries for five years. I did everything from circulation, technical services, storytime, management. While in library school, I was a graduate assistant in special collections and worked with a rare book cataloger. I started a job as a high school Library Media Specialist in August. I want to do a little bit of everything! 7y
pocketmermaid My bookish career started with Waldenbooks, then I went to Barnes & Noble, then over to Borders! Then I got into library work, both academic and public. I‘m currently a Young Adult Librarian at a public library. 😃 7y

Ehbooklover I‘m a Library Service Assistant at a small branch of a public library. I started as a student page in the 80s and worked my way up to where I am now. This year is my 30th anniversary. I love it. 7y

ChrisM I'm currently director of a 3 branch public library & previously an elementary school librarian- told my grown daughter how many books I read in a month & she said I "have a problem" ??? I just love books 7y

Grrlbrarian Access Services Librarian at a medium-sized private uni. Started as a grad student in Circ at a big public uni and have worked as well as a reference librarian and library director in public libraries. Also did a stint as a prospect researcher. [DELETED] 3803335244 I'm a homeschooling mom so technically I work with books 😁 With 5 kiddos I'm always reading something, be it children's, YA, middle grade, textbooks, science readers, math books! My days are non stop books & I love sharing them with my family. 7y

Librarybelle I'm a public librarian who has worked for the same organization for 12 years. My current gig has a number of pieces, including managing the front line staff, maintaining the adult print collections, training the entire library system's staff on technology, and other things too numerous to mention. #librariansoflitsy 7y
