I am having vacations in U.S. So of course I have to go to an indie store. I found this gem. It even has the autograph. So far so good. #booksandbooks

I was able to scoop an autographed copy of Circe and a Spanish book from Isabel Allende. Tbh I haven‘t read a Spanish book in a very long time and thought it would be a nice challenge. Can‘t wait to read them both!

This is the new fiction section at my local independent bookstore. It was my first time visiting this location since I‘ve only been to their main one in the gables. I loved the service and the manager really made me feel welcomed. What‘s your favorite local bookstore? And do you have a favorite employee?

So while unpacking my mother-in-law 3store house my daughter got her daddy old children books. There are 16 books in all. #littlereader #booksandbooks

So, I don't really have a reading nook, but here's my current read (and an uncooperative kitten) on the "cuddler" portion of our couch, where I sit to read a lot. In this book, the wife thinks she has the #perfectillusion because she keeps two diaries - one her husband knows about and one he does not! Mother daughter relationships are hard especially in this book. I love the authors writing and the characters. And how certain chatacters played a part in changing the main character forever. Beautifully done. If you haven't read it you should.
