Super quick listen. I overall enjoyed it but didn't love it. So I am gonna vote “so-so“. #BookSpin @TheAromaOfBooks

A compelling read and although the chapters seemed a bit choppy and disorganised once Paris explains her journey with her ADHD mind, it became clear that she was writing this book as the thoughts/memories were coming to her and this seemed to be the most organic and rawest way for her to tell her truth. After reading this excellent memoir, I now feel like I know that there is so much more to Paris than anyone ever gave her credit for.🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Characters' backgrounds were slowly revealed and that was intriguing. This was slow paced, I think I ended up liking that. Characters weren't alike to each other, some weren't likable and some were.
This was intriguing to read after the very beginning. The beginning wasn't super captivating but I was soon invested in the story. This was like a soap opera that tells about awful things but at the same time you want to know more.
Loved how candid Paris was in this. A reminder that being born into privilege does not automatically mean that you will always have the best life.
Was browsing for an audiobook to listen to and stumbled upon this one.
I‘ve only listened about 20% so far and I must say she‘s the perfect example of why we shouldn‘t judge a book based by its cover…
This was a tough read, but also an inspiring one. Pamela put up with a lot…abuse, media slurs, unscrupulous people & some very outrageous men. Still, she persevered. She found much solace & courage in a variety of spiritual books. I had no idea she was such an avid reader or that she appeared on stage as Roxy in Chicago. Loved the stories about her sons & her empowering posse of friends.
Thanks @catiewithac for the gift of this moving memoir.🤗❤️
