This was funny and light despite the murder mystery. The protags had snappy dialog and the B plot was interesting as well. I'm intrigued how this series has gone from typical sports romance to the last few having a mystery thrown in as well. Overall, I had a good time reading this and will happily try whatever else comes in this series.

I read the 3rd book in the series and enjoyed. So I decided to start with book one. The plot was good but it was the character of Phoebe that really captured me. The story had all the feels and I enjoyed the journey of the main characters to each other. 4⭐️

Cute story. I thought the plot was interesting but highly unlikely. Yet, it is fiction and I did enjoy it.

The characters are well rounded and worked well together. I liked the tension in the story and it made me want to find out how it would all work out. 4⭐️
