After the op shop I visited the book swap.
This was the first Nancy Drew book I have read in a number of decades. Read it for #CostaRica for #ReadingTheAmericas2023 @BarbaraBB @Librarybelle
An enjoyable light mystery set in the jungles of Costa Rica where something mysterious is going on. Cue Nancy and her friends to investigate and save the day. Although not going to run out and read others in the series.
14th book read in November #Rushathon @DieAReader @Ghabi4Roses
Started this show on a complete whim, not really having any history with Nancy (other than the Emma Roberts led film) & was immediately hooked.
Set in Horseshoe Bay, a town in Maine that has a bit of a supernatural problem but luckily this gang is around to sort it all out.
Anyway, I‘ve got 3 episodes left of the final season & I‘m feeling sad about it, it‘s been such a funny, goofy ride (jump scares aside) with such beautiful character arcs.
This was fun as I was involved with and/or attended The Nutcracker Ballet for many years. Nancy and pals must detect who is trying to sabotage the production…as you can see from the cover, the nutcracker himself has been defiled 😳

December 30 #DevineDecember Nutcracker Of course there is a Nancy Drew Mystery about this subject. @Eggs @Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks
Y‘all. This is so bad that I almost want to give it a pick for the sheer audacity. It surpassed even my low expectations.
It reads like the publisher sponsored a “write the next Nancy Drew mystery!” contest at a high school and this was the “winner”. The only other plausible explanation for this hot mess of a MG book is nepotism. But, hey, it counts for #readingtheamericas2023 #costarica 🤣🤣
Fangirling because this is my fave store to fill in the gaps of my Nancy Drew collection, and the owner gifted me with this bag today! So fun!
