Relaxing with a good book and a small journal from my local library in St. Louis. Who loves their #library?
Best investment I make each year. 📚

Quick read about reading. I enjoyed the idea and was helped by the information and perspective. My reading style is a bit sporadic and unscheduled so I didn‘t receive all the recommendations. But overall a helpful book about reading books specifically as someone who follows Jesus Christ.

BookBabe Thanks for this great review! 😃 #stacked 🙌🏻 3y

An older series of Warren. Fun, light-hearted mystery with an inspirational message.

Saw this online today, knew you guys would get it. 😆

Librariana There was a day, before my husband and I went out to run some errands, when I considered bringing a book with me "just in case", but I knew the types we'd be running wouldn't facilitate any reading time. Then, as we're driving down the hill heading towards the highway he tells me, "I was thinking of going to get my hair cut first..." and you could SEE the steam coming out of my ears! 5y
Librariana A hair cut for him always means reading time for me while I wait. I told him I wouldn't mind the detour in the slightest, but *REALLY* needed him, from now on, to spring these announcements on me BEFORE we left the house. Moral of the story: always, ALWAYS bring a book. No matter what. 5y
Hooked_on_books @Librariana That‘s pretty funny. And yes, excellent philosophy. If I don‘t have a book, I can always start reading one on my phone through one of many apps. One benefit of technology! 5y
Lauraandherbooks I don‘t drive so I‘m always the passenger and try to sneak in a little reading when leaving the house , sometimes it‘s my only opportunity I get in a day - I usually buy purses judging if it‘s big enough to carry a book 😜 5y
Hooked_on_books @Lauraandherbooks Yes! Big purses are a must! 😆 5y

I just received this entire series from my Grandparents. I‘m about 100 pages in and I really like it so far. It‘s interesting to read because it was written in 95‘ and I find that, in retrospect, the story may have been slightly different if it was written ten years later. I‘m also a Christian, so I can appreciate any literature that represents my faith. #christianlit #rapture

Laura317 I started these in the late 90‘s. I think 4 had been written. They certainly made an impact on a lot of people - me included. 6y
DebReads4fun I have read and enjoyed the entire series. Welcome to Litsy! (edited) 5y

This book is beautifully written! I love our protagonist. She is a fearsome lady, and makes some amazing decisions throughout the novel. This novel made me laugh, made me cry, and opened my eyes to things I hadn't ever thought of. Seriously, read this amazing Christian historical fiction novel.

Has anyone else ever read this. It's one of her older books and I just love it and highly suggest the audio book. I feel like maybe my life is calling for a re-read soon.
