Spoils of the day. I'm SO happy. Checked many things off my list, and was able to find deals on specific things I've been wanting. Many of these were used, signed, or exclusive. Trial run of #SEABookstoreDay (we're going to try to do the whole thing next year) was a rousing success. Last stop of the day (#5)! Gap in posting due to a pause for dinner and extended browsing at one of our favorites. Was so excited to find a used copy of this one, and Jesmyn Ward's Salvage the Bones. It was signed, guys. I couldn't NOT. Independent Bookstore Day stop #3: Queen Anne Books. Missed out on Blind Date with a Book (but got delicious Cubano coffee), and the Nasty Women book was already sold out, but was able to order one with a fully signed bookplate. Independent Bookstore Day stop #2: Secret Garden Books (hi @BeckyMerilatt )! To get the Rainbow Rowell short, you had to buy a YA book. DARN. (Kelly Barnhill is amazing, and if you haven't read Girl Who Drank the Moon, RUN DON'T WALK.) So excited to read this one! On to store 3! @RavenRenegade
