The plot and characters were never developed. I just didn‘t care about any of it. I really wanted to love it, but I‘m just happy I finished it.

This is the 4th book in this British police procedural series and I have really enjoyed all of them. This one deals with a couple of missing girls, which requires trying to get information from the friends. The crimes seem to have the same MO as that of a serial rapist that Adam Fawley put away many years ago and so he must deal with others thinking he may have been wrong then. The ending sets us up nicely for the next in the series. 4.25/5 stars
An Amazon book haul from earlier this week! Some of these are from the”Buy 2 Get 1” sale. Also, I already have a BOTM copy of The Women but the regular copy is just so pretty 😍!
I thought this was going to be about one thing, but it turned into a lot more (I don‘t want to spoil!) and I really enjoyed it. Some of the twists were kind of crazy but i thought they were earned by the story. I have been enjoying a lot of Irish crime novels lately, and will definitely look for more by this author, who was new to me. This was my #BookSpin for March and I never reviewed it. I wanted to make sure I did!
Excellent month! #BookSpinBingo

Hubby is having surgery to remove a kidney stone. Upside is that I get reading time.
