A good book with a twisty ending! If you live in the Twin Cities of Minnesota, then you‘ll really like this book as it‘s chock full of place references. And the protagonist is a smart-aleck, so it‘s fun to read. If you don‘t know the Twin Cities, you‘ll learn a lot!

I really enjoyed this intriguing mystery, set in east Texas in the 1930's. The atmosphere and setting were perfect for this story. Harry is a great protagonist and I just loved getting to know him and his family. His relationship with his grandmother was just 🥺🥺😍

I thought it was an okay story. I didn‘t like the long dragged out parts of the survival story and I didn‘t like the ending. I do like how Ben was strong and proactive.
