Read this last week. I‘m not sure if these are getting better or worse… This one a lot and nothing both happened. This one was more about the relationships, which is fine. But I feel like they‘re really dragging out the political situation. I mean, I‘ll keep reading them but meh.

I am getting nervous I‘m almost caught up on this series and will miss the world and characters. This one wasn‘t my favorite which bums me out bc I was super excited for the Charon Eurydice romance…maybe I got too excited!

I have such a soft spot for Katee Robert 💖 This was spicy 🔥, although a little more focused on the politics of the overarching plot, than the main relationships, but it was actually good to see how the story is moving on.... Can't wait for the next one ❤️

I never really warmed up to Charon, personally, but that's really the only quibble I had with this book! Robert has done great work with exploring character motivations, developing relationships, building the overarching political intrigue, and, you know, keeping things sexy. #contemporaryromance #greekmyths #retelling

4/5

Eurydice is ready to move forward with her life after Orpheus left her heartbroken, and Charon is ready too, but Orpheus still wants to make things right with Eurydice. All three are brought together in the midst of turmoil in Olympus.

This really moved the plot of Dark Olympus forward in big ways, that I loved, but I did wish the book had been a little longer to give more focus on the relationship between the protagonists and their growth.

I enjoy the political intrigue and drama, the sexytimes not so much.
